TM Opens Mobile Counter For Payment Of Bills In Interior Of Kelantan

KOTA BAHARU, Nov 7 (Bernama) -- Telekom Sales and Services Sdn Berhad (TSSSB), a subsidiary of Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM), has started a mobile counter service to enable those in the interior of the state to pay their bills quickly and easily.

It has also opened 105 marketing counters, known as TM Point, to facilitate business with the company.

TSSSB chief executive officer Ahmad Khairul Razi Ismail said the centres, known previously as Kedai Telekom, has now changed to a sport customer friendly look and among others, handles business related to the payment of telephone, electricity, water and Astro bills.

He told this to reporters after the launch of the Red Carpet Day here on Saturday.

The ceremony was held simultaneously throughout the country and in Kelantan, it was officiated by the Deputy State Secretary, Datuk Dr Zainuddin Ibrahim.

Also present was the TM Kelantan general manager, Abdul Rashid Che Othman.

Ahmad Khairul Razi said the mobile counter known as TM Point On Way (TM Point Bergerak), is manned by four staff and will be present one day of the week in specified locations in a number of districts, including in Ciku, Gua Musang,Bukit Bunga in Jeli and Melor in Bachok.

"While on location, the staff will handle the payment of bills including that for Astro subscribers," he added.

Abdul Rashid also disclosed that the company received between 500 and 600 new telephone applications monthly in Kelantan and about 700 for broadband customers.

"Though the TM Point On Way programme, we are going to the ground to meet the people and they need not travel to our centre, if it is far," he said.
